Weir Phillips was appointed as the nominated heritage consultant to oversee works during the recent Wynyard Station Upgrade, which included the construction of Wynyard Walk as part of the wider Barangaroo Development.
Prior to the commencement of construction, we provided heritage documentation to assist in gaining statutory approvals for the upgrade.
We also assisted in preparing the approvals for Chris Fox’s interpretive artwork at the York Street entrance, which celebrates the iconic wooden escalators once synonymous with Wynyard Station.
