This prominent site contains a contributory building in an inner city heritage conservation area. The user brief and the heritage constraints required a breach of the LEP height limit. A carefully reasoned planning argument combined with sensitive treatment of the historic fabric and the character of the conservation area resulted in a successful scheme and ultimate approval.
