Alice Fuller

Alice is a respected historian and commentator on social history with more than 25 years’ experience in private practice as a heritage consultant.

Prior to joining Weir Phillips Heritage and Planning, Alice worked as a painting conservator restoring, among other items, the carousel at Luna Park, Melbourne, and painted surfaces at The Swifts, Darling Point, Sydney.

Alice has specialist knowledge and a unique combination of skills and expertise. She has a wide understanding of development matters with particular focus on building history and assessing heritage significance and likely impacts.  She specializes in the preparation and facilitation of heritage impact statements for development applications and approvals, the research and preparation of conservation management plans and provision of consulting advice.

Alice possesses a thorough knowledge of online, archival and library-based research resources allowing for the production of detailed and comprehensive histories. She occasionally lectures in research methodology in the Heritage Conservation course at The University of Sydney.
